SPRINAVASA

1) Do you think Sprina is right, that conflicts between white women and women of color are diminishing, and that an alliance between all racial groups is possible?

I can only speak from personal experience, which is that racial conflicts among women have diminished in general. It's not an issue that's at the forefront like it was during 2nd wave feminism. Class is a more obvious issue, which is often tied to race, but I don't think race itself is so relevant anymore.

for me, race is at the forefront of my immediate human interactions. when i meet someone who is white they are guilty until proven innocent. and so, my relationships with white women, a lot of the time i feel as though i have to teach, and sometimes that gets tiring. and annoying. not to say i dont hope we will continue to build bridges and that those connections won't continue to flourish. However, "race":for people of color is an american conversation pastime, so of course it's relevent.and very often comes in the way...
