COLLEEN

1) Do you think sororities, despite their reputation, have the ability to empower women and create a climate of sisterhood? Can a sorority be a feminist space?

Never thought about this before, but a sorority's original intention was to create a sisterly feeling. although now, from being in one personally for 2 years, I can tell you it's not always like that in practice. Mine was an anorexia breeding machine, plus women were always talking behind each other's backs. Sounds like Colleen's sorority had the right idea, but as of now, I don't think sororities are very feminist.
