Women in movies and television are always defined by their sexuality, their body, whether or not they fit a norm of femininity. I'd like to see a tv show where a woman is working a job that hasn't been traditionally associated with women, but where it isn't the core of the show. Issues of conflict in the workplace are important, but wouldn't it be nice to have 30 minutes where a lady is just doing what she does without being hassled about it? Our kids would see that and think it's normal for a woman to be a construction worker/judge/firefighter, and by the time she is old enough to be one, maybe it won't be that far from a fantasy world.
