I wish. It should be but this couldn't really happen on a mass scale in public schools. I can imagine the backlash already. It would be called brainwashing, anti-religious and that's just what the parents would say. I can't imagine having any sort of semi-intelligent conversation about feminism at my high school. Students and parents already resented any sort of feminist perspectives in English or history classes: like reading a paragraph or two about Women's Lib in US History or reading Kate Chopin in US Lit.
But the reason it is soooo necessary is the same reason it couldn't happen in the near future except maybe in incredibly liberal districts around the US. Here's to hoping!
