Granting women suffrage was a great publicity tool and whether or not people were for women’s right to vote, it kept Wyoming in the news and on people’s minds. <BR/> Don’t get me wrong; I think the men of Wyoming did a wonderful thing by granting women the vote, but many of them saw it as a means to and end- i.e. gaining popularity/citizens/statehood- rather than an end in itself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
